Abandoned at a housing unit with no known history, she was understandably frightened and unsure of people. With patience, consistency, and lots of gentle encouragement, Mali has blossomed into a much friendlier cat who now enjoys human companionship and happily seeks out attention from those she trusts.<br/><br/>While she's no longer the timid cat she once was, Mali still appreciates a calm, predictable environment where she can continue to build her confidence. She has a wonderful personality that's beginning to shine through, and watching her open up has been incredibly rewarding.<br/><br/>Mali is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with no children, where her new family will respect her pace and allow her to settle in comfortably.
