She likes to take in her surroundings and get the lay of the kingdom before jumping into the action, but once she's comfortable, her playful, mischievous side comes shining through. <br/><br/>Maleficent is good with cats and dogs and especially enjoys having a feline friend around. She's currently fostered with Elsa, a gorgeous orange tabby, and together they may just be the most perfectly coordinated Halloween duo we've ever seen. <br/><br/>Seriously — a black kitten and an orange kitten? In October? ‍<br/>We couldn't have planned it better if we tried.<br/><br/>Maleficent has an independent streak and appreciates being allowed to approach new people and situations at her own pace. Give her the chance to settle in, and you'll get to watch this confident little personality emerge as she explores, plays, and becomes part of the family.<br/><br/>She's not actually plotting to take over the kingdom.<br/><br/>But with Elsa by her side, these two could definitely rule yours. <br/><br/>Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.<br/><br/>All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
