Meet Malachor! Malachor is a beautiful patch tabby — and her foster dad’s favorite girl! She has a big, vibrant personality that fills the room. She’s full of playful energy, always ready for a game or a new adventure, but she also has a soft side and loves to fall asleep right in your arms. Malachor gets along well with the resident cats and doesn’t mind the dogs in her foster home. She’d be happiest in a home with another friendly kitty to play and cuddle with. If you’re looking for a kitty who’s equal parts spunk and sweetness, Malachor will steal your heart in no time! Malachor is currently in a foster home. Animal House of South East Michigan, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment. Our adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten $195 for a pair of cats or kittens Please note that we do not do same day adoptions and all adoption fees are non-refundable. AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We are also flexible if more time is needed to determine if its the right fit. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
