Maki's Story
Maki is named after the traditional hand-rolling method of sushi making for her black and white sticky rice color pattern!

She was found in a bush in DC and her finders quickly knew from her friendly demeanor she wanted an indoor lifestyle.

Maki is about 8 months young and has quickly adapted to life indoors. She has great litter box manners, enjoys playing with balls and toy mice, and loves birdwatching from the windowsill. While she can be pretty independent, she also enjoys snuggling on your lap after a long day.

She is currently in a foster home with a playful dog whom she tolerates she would love another kitty playmate, a calm dog companion, or to be your one and only!

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FHVA/cat
