Major's Story
Meet Major – The Tiny Commander With a Big Personality!
Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat

Don’t be fooled by her petite frame—Major may be the smallest in her squad, but she runs the show with unmatched confidence and flair. At just 3 months old, this fearless little girl is full of spark, sass, and smarts.

Major is the kind of kitten who dives headfirst into playtime like it’s her mission. Her favorite games involve sneaky ambushes, fast chases, and toy mouse takedowns that would impress even the most seasoned predator. You can practically see her planning her next move—she’s focused, feisty, and loves to win.

But behind her boldness is a heart full of loyalty and affection. Once Major decides you're part of her circle, she’s all in: gentle purrs, cozy naps, and the occasional head bonk to remind you that she’s got your back. She’s especially close to her brother Scout, who helps balance her go-getter energy with his calm presence. They make quite the dynamic duo—playmates by day, cuddle buddies by night.

Major and her three brothers (Scout, Echo, and Tank) were born to a street-smart mama named Soldier, who has since returned to her outdoor colony. Her kittens, however, are thriving in foster care and now ready to bring their love and laughter into forever homes.

---

Major is spayed, microchipped, healthy, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. She’s neat with her litter box and shows all the signs of being a delightful lifelong companion. While she hasn’t met a dog before, we believe she could adjust well to a respectful pup with proper introductions.

Because of her strong bond with her siblings—especially Scout—preference will be given to adopters interested in adopting a pair or who already have a playful, cat-friendly animal at home.

Learn more about why adopting two kittens is better for their development: www.kittenlady.org/twokittens

Major is currently in Houston, TX, but transport is available to approved adopters in the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or along the route.

---

ADOPTION FEES & IMPACT:
When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you help more than just one animal—you directly support our efforts to spay/neuter stray cats and prevent suffering on Houston’s streets. Adoption fees cover spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, and transport.

Follow us on Instagram @roses\_rescues\_htx to learn more about our lifesaving work and see more adorable faces like Major’s!
