Maizy & Malachai are a sweet, shy sibling pair who were transferred to us from our partner Feline Canine Friends after being found as strays. Though initially reserved, these two have slowly been coming out of their shells thanks to a little time, a lot of patience, and their favorite Churu treats. Both are very food motivated, and their playful sides shine when the catnip and wand toys come out! Watching them explore and gain confidence has been a joy.<br/><br/>This bonded duo would thrive in a calm, quiet household with a family that understands the beauty of slow progress. They would likely do well with other cats, possibly a calm dog, and older, respectful children who can give them the gentle space they need to feel safe. -We require that all of our adopters be 21yrs+. All adults 18yrs+ must pass a basic background check. -Landlord checks and pet limits and policies are preformed when necessary. City pet limits are assessed. - Current pets, must be up to date on vaccinations and routine wellness and veterinarian information provided. - Potential adopters must provide 3 personal references. 'Almost Home MKE has a strict no declaw policy, and believes strongly in healthy, safe, alternatives to declawing.
