Maizie's Story

Hi my name is Maizie and I had a home once but my owners threw me out . I was pregnant at about 1 year old . I was roaming the neighborhood looking for a safe place. My eye got some cloudiness the vet says due to me being outside fending for myself. A kind lady found me and took me in . I liked her but she had dogs that didn't like cats . She put me in a basement for safe keeping . My babies were coming and she let me stay but it wasn't a safe place for them . She reached out to a rescue lady who brought me to my foster mom's home with my babies . My foster mom says am such a good mommy! . I taught my babies to use the litter box , play, eat wet and dry food and come when I call them. They're bigger now and I love them but we need to find our own forever people to love. I hope you will give me a chance to show you how I cuddle , play and love to be with people.. My foster mom thinks I'm so sweet and such a great girl and I love to be petted . Maizie is sweet tabby long hair fostered in Millis MA, with a kind, mellow personality and lives to cuddle! She is spayed, with vaccines up to date, including rabies and combo tested negative for Leukemia and FIV, she is also microchipped. This is a courtesy post for another rescue. Gatos Borincoon, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

1. Application with questionnaire https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PRGA/Cat 2. Interview call 3. If accepted, sign contract 4. Exchange of pet fee donation. 5. Pet pickup Any potential adopter should fill out an application form (for a specific cat or for general pre-approval). After we review the application, a phone interview will be arranged for the qualified applicants for final approval. After the approval the applicant may be able to visit the location where our cats are fostered or zoom call to see the cats in their foster homes. Finally the adopter will sign the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee and then pick up the cat. If the adopter is located in a different location than the cat, for example some cats are fostered in Puerto Rico, we will make the arrangements for delivering the cat and all details will also be discussed with the adopter. We can usually find volunteers flight angels to bring the cat to mainland USA. We don't charge any additional fee for arranging the trip (pet ticket $150 depending the airline, plus the traveling bag and its all already included in the pet adoption fee.)
