MAISEY & OLIVER's Story
Maisy is a sweet and petite kitty medium to long hair kitty who was found seeking food at a NYC area cat colony. It was obvious to the colony feeders that Maisy was NOT a feral cat and didnt belong on the streets. Maisy was likely left behind when her owner's moved or decided they didn't want a cat a any more. This occurs all the time! Maisy was trapped and removed from the streets and post vetting was brought to our rescue organization.

Maisy is shy with new people and it may take her awhile to warm up. It is important that her new owners give her the space/time she needs to feel safe and secure. Maisy loves to be pet and appreciates even being brushed which is important as a longer hair cat.

Maisy is fixed, vaccinated, blood tested and microchipped and based upon her exam the veterinarians believe she is under 2 years. Maisy would do best in a quiet home as she is NOT used to small children (under age 10) She should also have a owner who is home more often than not so that she can feel safe enough to bond with them. Maisy does well with other cats but could easily be bullied by a stronger personality feline so we will need to understand any potential adopter's other cat's personalities to ensure it is the right fit.

Interested? you must complete our adoption application found online; www.savingfancycats.org.

Maisy is ready for adoption and her fee is $135.
