MEET MAGNUM! My name is Magnum and I hope you are ready for some QUALITY conversation! I am the definition of the phrase age is just a number, and 8 years old is still middle aged for a kitty! I am spunky, SUPER affectionate, and I will never fail to acknowledge you when you walk in the room. The second I spot you, I am just chirping away! You might not believe it now by looking at my chonky and handsome appearance, but I have really been through it. When I arrived at the shelter, I was in rough shape. I am FIV positive, and since I was living outside and not being cared for, I was suffering from a URI and had some much needed weight to gain. Luckily, my friends at YCAS made sure that I got everything I needed from medical care to a whole lot of snuggles (and snuggles are my favorite thing!) Now, I am as chipper as ever and greet every new day as an opportunity to spread joy! I have tested well with other cats, though I tend to get jealous when it comes to sharing attention. I love being carried around like a baby and will literally try to melt into your arms. Honestly, I would be content just to lay in someone's lap all day and enjoy each others company! While I am FIV positive, I can live a long and healthy life as long as I am kept indoors and given regular vet care like any other cat! I am up to date on vaccines and preventatives, microchipped, neutered, and ready to meow my way into your heart! All Adoptions require a Pre-Adoption Interview with a YCAS Adoption Counselor, a meet and greet, and adoption approval. Every adoptable cat is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1 year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. The adoption fee is $77.
