MAGLIGHT

MEET MAGLIGHT!

Sometimes our shelter babies come to us with stories that break our hearts, but somehow, they still manage to have the biggest hearts of all.

Meet Maglight, a handsome 3-year-old male Domestic Longhair tabby who has had a rough start to life. Unfortunately, Maglight was thrown out because of his eye condition. But despite everything he has been through, this big boy hasn't let it change his sweet and loving personality one bit!

Maglight has a condition called entropion, which is when the eyelids roll inward and cause painful friction against the surface of the eye, especially the cornea. If left untreated, it can lead to serious eye damage and even blindness. Thankfully, Maglight's eyes will soon be getting the treatment they need, and we are determined to give this boy the chance he deserves.

And let us tell you... Maglight doesn't let his eyes slow him down! He is a BIG boy with an even BIGGER heart! He absolutely LOVES his soft food, has no problem eating or drinking, and is perfectly happy mingling with the other cats. In fact, he really doesn't seem to care what the other cats are doing because his main goal in life is finding a lap!

If you sit down, Maglight would like to make himself comfortable right there with you. He wants nothing more than to curl up in your lap, soak up all the love and attention you are willing to give, and remind you just how special he is.

He is VERY, VERY, VERY sweet and gentle and has so much love to give. He doesn't care who else is in the room—he just wants his person, his lap, and his lovings!

Maglight deserves someone who will look past his eye condition and see the wonderful, loving cat underneath. Someone who will give him patience, love, comfort, and a forever home where he will never have to wonder if he is wanted again.

Could you be the person Maglight has been waiting for?

If you're interested in meeting this incredibly loving boy, Maglight is available for adoption through Boonville Animal Control Shelter.

Boonville Animal Control Shelter
1560 E. He has been through enough. Now it's his turn to be loved.
