Maggie's Story

Maggie is a shy girl as is her siblings Moe and Curley. She would do best with one of her roommates in a quiet setting but it will take patience. She would be a good candidate for our barn cat program. The litter was rescued by one of our volunteers after she learned they were to be trapped and killed by a neighbor. Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program. Home visits are required so we are limit adoptions to approximately 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids, IA. Iowa adoptions only -no out of state adoptions. Our Cedar Rapids adoption center is open by appointment only at this time. You may schedule an appointment on our Facebook page or website. SAINT Rescue's Adoption Policy

All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. If you rent, the landlord will be contacted, and their approval is required. If your apartment building has a "no-pet" policy, we will not approve an application even though that owner is required to allow a pet with an ESA letter. We limit adoptions to homes in Linn County and adjacent counties. A home visit is required on all adoptions. That is generally conducted when we deliver the cat(s). If you have been convicted of assault, domestic abuse, child or elder endangerment/neglect, interference with official acts - your application will likely be denied. We reserve the right to deny any application.
