Maggie's Story

Meet the beautiful, Maggie. If you're looking for a calm, gentle companion to fill your home with love, Maggie may be the perfect match. This gorgeous gray girl is as sweet as they come, with a peaceful nature and a heart full of affection. She loves spending time with her people and has a wonderfully lovable personality that makes everyone who meets her fall a little bit in love. This gorgeous gal has an estimated birthdate of 8/2/24, so she's just two years young!

Maggie has been with us at the shelter for about a month now, and she has wiggled her way right into our hearts! She's as sweet as pie and she loves anyone who stops and gives her some love, pets and affection.

Maggie has lived with other cats in the past, although the circumstances were a bit complicated, and the kitties weren't BFFs. Despite that, she has shown no issues with other feline friends during her time at the shelter and has been taking everything in stride. Because of this we feel that she may do just fine in a home with another friendly kitty given thoughtful and proper introductions. Let's be honest, humans aren't always fans of other humans, and kitties can be the same way. It just may not have been a good fit for any of them, and for this reason we think that she may be just fine residing with other kitties. Of course she would also be a perfect only kitty too, as she would love the opportunity to soak up all of the love and affection herself!

It is reported that Maggie is fearful of dogs, so a pre-existing pooch may not be on Maggie's wishlist.

If you have kids in your life, then Maggie is onboard with that! It is reported that she loves kids and has a ball playing with them! So if you have a child that would love to have a fun and affectionate playmate, then Miss Maggie may just be your girl!

In addition to being a looker, Maggie is also a playful gal who loves furry mice, crinkle balls and catnip! She enjoys cat trees as well, and would love to have a tree of her own, with a nice window view.

Maggie is proud to report that she is a litter box champion, maintaining impeccable standards for cleanliness. And when dinner is served, Maggie loves both canned and dry food. She'd like it officially noted that canned food is the five-star dining experience she truly deserves and would like to continue to enjoy in her forever home.

Maggie is ready to leave shelter life behind and find the loving home she deserves. Whether she's relaxing beside you on the couch or quietly keeping you company throughout the day, Maggie is the kind of cat who will make every day a little brighter. Would you like to meet this sweet gal and give her the loving home that she deserves? If so, please complete an application and we will call you to schedule a meet and greet once you're approved!

West Jefferson, Ohio
#hsmcohio

A Petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application.
