Magda

Magda is fluffy and fabulous, and she absolutely knows it— happily soaking up every bit of attention that comes her way! At 7-8 years old, Magda came in with another cat she had lived with for many years. However, after observing her interactions with both her companion and shelter roommates, it quickly became clear that Magda is not a huge fan of other cats, particularly boys! She would be happiest as a solo kitty, but could live with another mellow female who can respect her space. Magda is a friendly, clever, and curious girl with a warm and affectionate nature. She has a silly, playful side and loves to play with her toys. Magda enjoys being with people and has all the makings of a lap cat, always ready for some quality snuggle time together.<br/><br/>Magda would thrive in a calm, cat-savvy home without young children, though older, gentle children would be just fine. Persian cats make wonderful companions, and Magda is no exception. However, her breed can be prone to certain congenital health concerns, so we would prefer she be adopted into a home with experience caring for Persians and that has an understanding of the breed’s unique care needs. Magda is Diabetic and receives insulin twice daily with ease. Because of her Diabetes, she is eligible for our Permanent Foster Program, which means that we will cover all of her medical expenses as long as she is seen by one of our veterinarians in Maple Ridge.<br/><br/>Magda cannot wait to find her furrever home, where she can shower a family with all of her love.
