Maestro's Story

Maestro is a gorgeous 1-year-old longhaired boy with a sweet, gentle personality and a heart full of love for other cats.

While he can be shy when meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment, Maestro blossoms with a little patience. Once he feels safe, he enjoys neck scratches, brushing, treats, and spending time near his favorite humans.

His absolute favorite thing, though, is other cats. Maestro LOVES feline friends and is happiest with a kitty companion. He greets other cats with headbutts, cuddles up beside them, and will dramatically flop over in front of them in hopes of making a new friend. He would thrive in a home with another friendly cat to help him feel confident and secure.

Maestro is a calm, lower-energy cat who prefers a peaceful environment. He's curious about the world around him and likes to quietly observe before joining in. In his previous home, he lived successfully with adults, children, and other cats. He currently lives with dogs in his foster home harmoniously.

The ideal home for Maestro is one that understands shy cats and is willing to give him time to settle in. The reward is watching him gain confidence, come out of his shell, and reveal the incredibly sweet cat underneath.

If you're looking for a mellow, affectionate companion and have a friendly cat searching for a best friend, Maestro may be the perfect addition to your family.
