Maeby's Story
This is Maeby. She is a white domestic short hair. Her birth date is 2/3/26.

She also was born with some congenital anomalies.

She is deaf
she's a polydactyl (she has 6 toes on her back paws as opposed to the normal 4)
She is missing a bone in both of her front legs

Put all this together and her condition is called "bilateral radial hemimelia with hind limb polydactyly and congenital deafness.

Sounds like a lot right? But it's really not. Maeby doesn't know she's different and has the spirit of a lion! She's a happy girl that is quite sure she's the center of attention at all times. Nothing stops her. She can get on and off the bed. And up the cat tree. She's determined.

Her condition doesn't require treatment at this time and isn't anticipated to require any in the future. Since she walks on one elbow and relies heavily on the other leg, she will have to be monitored for sores from contact with the floor.

We are looking for the best home possible for her.

Fill out an application and come meet Maeby.

https://www.catspawjamas.org/available-for-adoptionAll Cats and Kittens:
* Are Spayed/Neutered, vaccinated, flea-treated, microchipped
* Adoption fee: $200 + tax ($50 discount for a second cat/kitten)

* Kittens do best with a feline companion to stay entertained and well-socialized

Apply at: www.catspawjamas.org
