Maddie - 9 pounds of curiosity, confidence, and a solid determination that nothing in the house goes unexplored, <br/><br/>Hi, I’m Maddie! I’m a 3 yr old short-haired tabby girl. I weigh about 9 pounds, and I have a lot of energy packed into this little body!<br/><br/>My family recently decided that I need a new home because they aren’t able to give me as much attention as I need. It’s a hard change, but I’m ready to find the people who have the time and attention I’m looking for.<br/><br/>I’m a very friendly girl, and I’m also very curious. In fact, “curious” might be putting it mildly. I like to investigate, explore, and generally see what’s going on. I have a particular talent for doing the things I’m not supposed to do, which I’m told is not always appreciated. I prefer to think of it as being enthusiastic about life.<br/><br/>I’m definitely not a low-key, sit-in-the-corner-and-watch-the-world-go-by kind of cat. I have energy, I like attention, and I want to be involved! I’ll probably do best with people who enjoy having an active, curious cat around and who have the time to give me the interaction I’m looking for.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, there isn’t a whole lot known about my life before this point, so my new family will have the fun of getting to know me as I settle in. What we do know is that I’m friendly, energetic, curious, and very much happy to be me!<br/><br/>As far as the practical stuff goes, I’m microchipped, and my family reports no known allergies.<br/><br/>What I’m looking for is pretty simple: a home where I’ll get plenty of attention and where my curious nature will be understood and appreciated. (Or at least just understood.) I’m not promising to stop getting into things I shouldn’t. In fact, I suspect that may be part of my charm.
