Madame Janette's Story

Meet Betty Pascetti and Madam Janette!

Four little siblings — LiliChed, El Gaucho, Madam Janette and Betty Pascetti — were born outside to a community cat who was being cared for by a Petco employee. Their feeder had known their mama for many months, and since the day she had her babies she was a devoted mom who never missed a meal.

Then, two weeks ago, she suddenly disappeared.

For the next 48 hours, their feeder continued watching over the babies, hoping desperately that their mom would return. But this was completely unlike her, and as the hours passed, the fear that something had happened to her became impossible to ignore. With four little kittens now on their own, she knew she couldn’t wait any longer and reached out to find rescue for them.

And that’s how these four little nuggets became part of the SHFL family.

LiliChed, El Gaucho, Madam Janette and Betty Pascetti are now safe in a wonderful foster home with three children, where they’re getting plenty of love, attention and socialization. They are everything kittens should be — playful, curious, affectionate, social and ridiculously lovable!

They are currently accepting adoption (their two siblings are pending adoption already).

Because they’re still young and thrive with feline companionship, they can be adopted as a pairs or individually into a home that already has another friendly pet they can bond with. We will not be placing them as only pets.

If youre ready to give one (or two!) of these sweet kittens the happily-ever-after they deserve, wed love to hear from you!
