Macadamia's Story

Macadamia and her 4 kittens Pistachio, Brazil, Pecan & Almond showed up in a NW side backyard. Mom is young and the kittens were probably born the middle part of March 2022. Mac would do best as an only cat and no young children. Absolutely no dogs. She loves to go into the warehouse and explore. She would love nothing more than hanging with her person in a workshop or garage while they tinker. Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program. Home visits are required so we are limit adoptions to approximately 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids, IA. Iowa adoptions only -no out of state adoptions. SAINT Rescue's Adoption Policy

All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. If you rent, the landlord will be contacted, and their approval is required. If your apartment building has a "no-pet" policy, we will not approve an application even though that owner is required to allow a pet with an ESA letter. We limit adoptions to homes in Linn County and adjacent counties. A home visit is required on all adoptions. That is generally conducted when we deliver the cat(s). If you have been convicted of assault, domestic abuse, child or elder endangerment/neglect, interference with official acts - your application will likely be denied. We reserve the right to deny any application.
