When Mac first arrived at Animal Advocates, he was a very shy (but sweet!) boy who was most comfortable lounging in his favorite cardboard cat castle, away from the prying eyes and outstretched hands of passers by. However, in his time with us he has really blossomed into a confident and friendly character who is ready for his forever family!<br/><br/>Mac LOVES being brushed. He also enjoys cat nip, but in his typical calm, quiet fashion-he really likes to eat it like a treat but doesn't get super crazy like some kitties. Funnily enough, for the first few weeks with us Mac didn't show much interest in chasing wand toys or laser pointers. But something changed in him once he felt comfortable and now he's the most playful cat of our current crew! <br/><br/>Mac absolutely LOVES a good play session, especially with his buddy Caesar! Mac and Caesar are both chill dudes who arrived around the same time. If you're considering adopting two kitties, these two sweeties have developed a cute friendship in their time with us. <br/><br/>Mac is approximately 2 1/2 years old. He's well behaved around other friendly cats, but some of the "bigger personalities" in the room will pick on him sometimes. He would probably do best in a home with another friendly/calm/shy cat, or as an only cat. We haven't seen him interact with dogs or small children yet, but based on his overall vibe I think he needs a calm environment to live his best life. <br/><br/>Mac is up-to-date on vaccines, exams, FIV/FeLV tested (negative), flea treated, dewormed, spayed/neutered and microchipped.
