Mabel's Story
Mabel is a sweet little calico who’s equal parts snuggler and playful adventurer. A true people-pleaser, she loves being close to her humans—whether that’s curling up on the couch during TV time or snuggling in bed at night. Mabel is also very food-motivated, which makes treat time and bonding extra fun! When she’s not soaking up cuddles, she’s chasing toys, pouncing on anything that moves, or happily bird-watching from a sunny window. Mabel is a very friendly, social cat who isn’t afraid of people and is perfectly comfortable sharing space with a large dog.

Mabel does have a significant heart condition that will require a special adopter. She takes medication twice daily (it’s easy to give, especially since she loves food), and the cost is approximately $55 per month. Her expected lifespan is estimated to be 18 months to 3 years, and surgery is not an option. That said, you would never know anything is wrong—she is incredibly playful, full of life, and nothing slows her down.

Mabel is looking for a loving home willing to give her the care she needs and cherish every moment with her. Because of her medical condition, there will be no adoption fee for Mabel.

Mabel and Dot are sisters who share a special bond. They love playing, bird-watching, and curling up near each other, and they’d be delighted to spend forever together in the same home. Both are very friendly, social kittens who are confident around people and relaxed with a large dog.

While they would love to be adopted together, they are not so tightly bonded that they must be—each has the confidence and personality to thrive in their own loving home.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper (PCR) vaccines appropriate to age, Feline leukemia/FIV/HW test, rabies vaccine, and heartworm, ear mite & flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $Donation of your choice
