A true people-pleaser, she loves being close to her humans—whether that’s curling up on the couch during TV time or snuggling in bed at night. Mabel is also very food-motivated, which makes treat time and bonding extra fun! When she’s not soaking up cuddles, she’s chasing toys, pouncing on anything that moves, or happily bird-watching from a sunny window. Mabel is a very friendly, social cat who isn’t afraid of people and is perfectly comfortable sharing space with a large dog.<br/><br/>Mabel does have a significant heart condition that will require a special adopter. She takes medication twice daily (it’s easy to give, especially since she loves food), and the cost is approximately $55 per month. Her expected lifespan is estimated to be 18 months to 3 years, and surgery is not an option. That said, you would never know anything is wrong—she is incredibly playful, full of life, and nothing slows her down.<br/><br/>Mabel is looking for a loving home willing to give her the care she needs and cherish every moment with her.
