MABEL - BONDED WITH GLADYS's Story

Mabel was rescued from a local kill shelter, along with her sister, Gladys. Both cats had been brought in by someone who said they had found them in their flower bed. Mabel was unable to walk and the shelter reached out to FFAR to see if they could take both of them since they were obviously bonded and most likely sisters. Fortunately, time and steroids healed up Mabel and she is ready to rock. She most likely took a hit to her back from a car or fall, but once the inflammation went down, she was fine. Gladys is a true Munchkin with the cutest little legs and centipede body. Mabel doesn't have quite as short a legs, but the long body and resemblance is clear so we are sticking by that it is highly probable they are sisters or at the very least related. They look to be the same age so sisters is most likely. Both are incredibly social and sweet. They are young cats and playful as well. They get along with dogs, cats and kids. We are requiring they be adopted together as they are definitely a bonded pair. After all they have been through together, we don't want to separate them. If interested in meeting and possibly adopting them, go to furryfriendsanimalrescue.org and submit an application. You will be contacted within 24 hours (if not, please check your spam folder).

Furry Friends Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
We are a new group and we will be rescuing more as we recruit new foster homes - so check back often! We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis - it is our goal to find the right home for the cat or dog as well as ensuring that the cat or dog is the right match for its new family.  A win/win situation.  We do home visits for our dogs. Our Adoption Fees are $160 for cats and $250 for dogs. All our cats and dogs are fully vetted prior to adoption - this includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, feline leukemia/aids testing, heartworm tests, deworming, spay or neuter, microchips and other medical treatment as required. You can fill out an Adoption Application online on our website. All our cats and dogs live in foster homes so we don't have a physical shelter for you to visit.  If you are interested in meeting any of our cats or dogs, just send us a an email or fill out an Adoption Application on our website.
