Meet Lyra <br/><br/>Lyra's story began at a seafood market, where she was a friendly stray drawn to the smell of fresh fish and the kindness of the people who cared for her. Now safe and cozy indoors, she's learning what it means to be a cherished house cat.<br/><br/>Lyra is still adjusting to life inside, so new sounds and unfamiliar spaces can make her a little jumpy. But once she trusts you and lets you get close, she melts into your hand for pets and affection. <br/><br/>Lyra would do best in a calm, patient home where she can take her time learning to feel safe and loved. She absolutely adores other cats and enjoys having feline companionship, though she may be less shy in a quieter home with only one other cat — or even as the only pet. During the day, you may not see much of her unless there's a lizard teasing her from the window. But once the sun goes down, Lyra's quirky little night-owl personality comes to life. One of her favorite games is hiding under the bed and softly tapping your feet as you walk by, like she's saying, “Tag, you're it!”<br/><br/>You may have to put in a little extra charm to win Lyra over, but the moment she rolls over for a belly scratch, you'll know every bit of patience was worth it.<br/><br/>We provide all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care. All cats and kittens available for adoption have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, combo tested and given a rabies vaccine. Our adoption fees also cover lifetime microchip registration.
