Lynx's Story

WATER! This little blue-eyed lynx-point Siamese bobtail scamp, appropriately named Lynx, must’ve been born under the sign of Aquarius. He LOVES water! Running water. Dripping water. Flushing water (close the lid!!). Moving water. Water coming from the dishwasher overflow? Must investigate! Time for a shower? Make room for Lynx! But his favorite thing? Water filling the bathroom sink. He sticks his head under the running water and splashes happily in the standing water. Be prepared for a huge watery mess, because he goes nuts!

Lynx loves to use the magical kitty-sized swinging door between the bedroom and bathroom in his foster home, even when the bathroom door is wide open. He would very much appreciate a magical door of his own in his new home.

A consummate entertainer, Lynx wanders the house at night telling stories. Vinyl floors provide him the perfect surface for drifting at the end of a full-bore run. He’s never met a stranger he didn’t like. Catnip mice?? Best. Toy. Ever.

Lynx gets along with the cats and nice dogs in his foster home, but younger kids would not be a good fit for him. Around a year old, he would do best with older kids. He’d be happy to have a friendly kitty to run with, but he would do well as an only cat.

Lynx must have a home in the country, with a large area with trees and grass and bugs where he can safely explore, once he knows he is home. No city life for this guy! He has not been outside at his foster home, but not for lack of trying. He sounds like a herd of mini elephants as he rushes the door when other kitties are let out (and when he hears running water!). He HAS managed to get out onto the porch multiple times, and is intrigued by all the smells and sights, and is anxious to experience it all.

Please call or text (907) 953-0333. In Soldotna.
