Lynx's Story

Meet Lynx! Lynx is a handsome, approximately 7-year-old gentleman who was rescued from a colony in Brockville. Since coming into foster care, he’s made wonderful progress—transforming from a cautious and unsure boy into one who now happily welcomes gentle head, chin, and bum scratches. When new foster cats are introduced, Lynx takes his time adjusting in his own quiet way. As a mature fellow, he truly appreciates a calm environment and can become a bit unsettled when things get too lively. Lynx would thrive in a peaceful home where he can be the center of attention or share his space with another calm, experienced adult cat. He’s ready to continue his journey with someone who understands and appreciates his gentle, reserved nature. He has no tail - Manx cat in his genetic background. Dob estimated Dec 2017 Neutered, first shots, deflead, dewormed, micorchipped and he had a dental to remove is broken and infected teeth, had entropion surgery to repair on of his eyelids that was curled in constantly irritating his eye. Spencerville TNR's Adoption Policy

Potential adopter fill out an application. Once they have applied, our adoption coordinator will reach out and first screen. Once they pass the screening process, they will put into contact with the foster. The foster will answer any questions the potential adopters have about the cat. If the adoption coordinator who is included on all interactions between the foster and potential adopter believes it is a good match, they potential adopter will fill out the contract, pay the adoption fee and arrange a time to pick up the at the fosters home or cattery depending on the situation.

Our Mission

Our Mandate is to fund and promote sterilization of stray and barn cats as a means to humanely reduce the overpopulation of cats in Spencerville and surrounding areas. Some of the cats will be relocated if necessary or adopted into indoor homes. We are a team of volunteers who are willing to live trap, spay/neuter and adop...
