Lydia - ssb's Story
SPOT is proud to introduce Lydia to everyone! This darling girl is one of a litter of 7, 6 girls and one boy.

Lydia is very curious and adventurous. She loves to run around with her siblings, playing with everything that catches her attention. When her foster mom pulls out the fishing pole toy and waves the feathers around she is right there, showing off her athleticism as she leaps and twists trying to grab it.

Lydia is a little more reserved around people than some of her more outgoing siblings. She is not very interested in being a lap cat right now, although when petted she has quite the purr. She does sleep with her foster mom and follows her around to "help" with household chores.

Lydia, like her siblings, seems to have quite a bit of Maine Coon in her. She has the ear tufts and face shape and the fascination for water that a Maine Coon has. Like her sister, Stella, Lydia appears all black, but when you look at her in profile in the light you can see the beautiful tabby markings that are hidden in the black.

Lydia is in a house with multiple other cats, besides her siblings, ranging in age from 1 to 12. She does not mind the other cats, although she does not seek out their companionship either. She would do well with one of her siblings, but may not be as interested in being a companion to an unrelated cat.

This girl shows all the signs of being a warm and welcoming presence in your home. She is pretty independent and doesn't require a lot of attention, but welcomes loving strokes, being talked to, and just being in the room with her person.

If you realize that your home would be improved with a soft, fluffy, playful, sweet panther than submit an application to meet Lydia.

Lydia is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and blood tested for feline leukemia and FIV. She has also been treated for fleas and parasites.

The adoption fee is $175 and there is a $25 discount when adopting a pair. If you are interested in meeting Lydia or any of her littermates, please fill out the adoption application at www.savingpetsoneatatime.org.
