Lydia's Story

This beautiful and very smart girl is Lydia! She tolerates them, but mostly stays away from them or bops them on the head with her front paws. She would do best as an only pet.

She loves human interaction and is affectionate once she trusts. She is very smart and has learned to roll over on command and does "so big" on command. She can get overstimulated easily so needs someone patient and kind. Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals's Adoption Policy
The Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals depends on the kindness and generosity of foster families when we rescue pets. If we do not have a foster home available, we cannot accept or take in the pet. Right now there pets that are waiting for a foster home to open up. Some are living in temporary homes, others are being boarded by private citizens. If we have more foster homes, we can help more animals move toward the permanent loving homes they deserve. Remember, when you foster a pet, you get the reward of knowing you have saved a life, and you also receive unconditional love. If you are interested in adopting a pet from the Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals, please go to the SVFA website listed below, download the pre-adoption form, and send it to us at PO Box 432, Valley City, ND 58072 OR email to Jenni Richman, Secretary/Treasurer at jenni.svfa@gmail.com. We can also send you a form if you call: 701-840-5047. http://www.svfanimals.org
