Lunes's Story

Lunes was found on a Monday — which is how he got his name. This handsome white boy with black markings has been in foster care for almost a year and, while he has made meaningful progress, he remains a very shy cat.

When Lunes first arrived, he was terrified of people and would hide his face whenever someone came near. He only felt safe coming out at night. Over time, he has grown braver. He now explores his foster room during the day, plays on the cat tree, and sleeps out in the open — as long as the room is human-free. When someone enters, he retreats to a covered space, but instead of hiding his face, he calmly observes from his safe spot.

He allows gentle pets and brushing (even if he pretends not to enjoy it), and he absolutely loves cuddling with his foster brothers. When viewed on a cat cam or through the window, he is playful, silly, and full of personality — he just isn’t ready to share that side with people yet.

Lunes will need a very patient adopter and a quiet home. A home with other cats would be ideal, as feline companions give him comfort and confidence. With time, consistency, and understanding, he is expected to continue blossoming at his own pace.

Date of Birth: March 2024
Colour: Black and White
Personality Traits: Shy at first, playful
Energy Level: 3 medium
Good With Children: Unknown
Good with other Cats: Needs a feline friend
Good with Dogs: Untested
Good with other animals: Untested
Favourite things: foster buddies, a quite spot
Medical Care Received: Neutered, first shots, deflead, dewormed, microchipped

Adoption fee 250$
