Lunar's Story

This is the sweetest girl around, also known as, Lunar. This wonderful girl and her son, Prince Harry were brought to us through no fault of their own, but only after their owner passed away. Lunar has an estimated birthdate of 4/18/18, so she's about 8 years old. To let you in on a little secret, the name that she came in with is, "Luna", but we currently have another Luna up for adoption and we have a ton of Lunas in our database, which is why she was stuck with the moniker, "Lunar". Hopefully her adopters revert back to calling her Luna, because Lunar just isn't cutting it for us! But back to more about this adorable torbie - Lunar is just the sweetest girl that you would ever want to meet, but she's also been the saddest girl since coming to the shelter. She is grieving the loss of her owner and she doesn't understand how she ended up in a cage at the shelter. Lunar is just the sweetest thing, and she deserves to have a loving and permanent forever home. <br/>This sweetie pie doesn't ask for much at all. She simply wants a nice, warm place to lay, some pets every now and then, and to really make her light up- some canned food. Canned food is her favorite thing in the world right now. We can't stress to you what a good girl that she is, and she would be an amazing addition to a quiet home that just needs the addition of a lovely kitty to bring some love and calm energy to the place. She would be an ideal kitty for just about any home, whether you work from home or are gone for hours at a time, she would fit in just fine. An even sweeter arrangement would be if her son, Prince Harry got adopted along with her. If is reported that both kitties are afraid of dogs, so it wouldn't be ideal for them to be in a home with dogs. The possible exception would be if you have a very calm, cat-friendly dog. Then there is a possibility that it could work out. Lunar is a mellow, laid back girl and she would be fine with the kids in your life, but don't expect her to run around a play a lot, as this cutie is a Grade A couch potato. Would you like to meet the wonderful Lunar?
