Luna's Story

Meet Laya and Luna, a gorgeous bonded sister pair looking for their forever home!

These sweet girls are a quiet duo who prefer to let their purrs do the talking. While they are very shy when meeting new people, they are deeply affectionate once they know they can trust you. In their foster home, they went from needing private hiding spots to happily greeting their foster parent at the door and competing for attention!

Luna is a striking black-and-white beauty is a brave leader and protector who loves to confidently explore new spaces first. She is a playful athlete who leaps fearlessly into the air after strings and flying toys. While she prefers keeping her paws on the ground over being carried, Luna is highly affectionate on her own terms and will enthusiastically headbutt you or rub against your legs to demand pets and food first.

Luna is a highly food-motivated, clever girl who becomes your best friend at the mere prospect of a treat. She has a uniquely cute look with a short, half-tail, which might be why her absolute favorite hobby is burrowing into warm, cozy blankets for luxurious naps. If you are looking for an entertaining, confident, and deeply loving companion, Luna is your girl

The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets!
