Luna's Story

Five months ago, Luna found herself on the urgent list at Chicago Animal Control. She had just lost the only home she had ever known, unspayed, with obvious eye issues, and completely terrified.

Thankfully, a kind foster stepped up to save her, and her journey to healing began. After multiple visits to an eye specialist, the difficult decision was made to remove one of her eyes. Luna has since been spayed, fully vaccinated, and is thriving in her foster home.

At eight years old, Luna is a gentle, low-maintenance companion. She does require daily eye drops in her remaining eye and rechecks every six months—but in exchange, she’ll shower you with snuggles, companionship, and the cutest little pink beans.

Her foster mom can’t say enough wonderful things about this petite girl with the sweetest face. We know Luna’s forever home is out there—let’s give her the happy ending she deserves.
Fostered in Chicago
