Luna's Story

Serene, sweet, and a little shy, this pretty girl is Luna. Luna and Ella were part of a group of cats who originally came into the shelter several years ago due to their owner being incarcerated. They were adopted, but found themselves back at the shelter after the adopter passed away. Luna has always been reserved at first, unsure of strangers and taking her time to build trust. She did not enjoy small children in previous homes and found them frightening, but she enjoyed other cats-including her still-roommate Ella. Compared to Ella, Luna is more of a cuddler and will roll over for belly rubs once she's comfortable.

Luna and Ella have been together through it all and are looking for a home where they can stay together-come what may-but we hope the third time is the charm for these girls! Luna and Ella have not lived with dogs before, but had previously done well with cats. These two girls would likely prefer a quieter, low activity home with mature humans (and with or without cats) that allowed them to decompress at their pace given everything they've been through. If you've got a soft place for these sisters from other misters to land, meet Luna and Ella.
