Luna's Story
Luna joined us in the early fall, as she was unfortunately a victim of inappropriate vet care, resulting in a horrific skin allergy that's taking some time for us to resolve. But she is well on her way to her original state of picture perfect health, and she's getting ready to start interviewing for her forever home and family!

This young beauty is approximately 3 years old, chatty and as sweet as can be, and is looking forward to enjoying many years of the love and happiness she deserves. .

We are a "Protect the Pets" rescue with established nutritional protocols for our obligate carnivorous cats. We mandate responsible vaccination protocols and titer testing with Kansas State Veterinary Lab, in order to provide continuous protection and compliancy with the Rabies Control Act of South Carolina Rabies Statute Section 47-5-60. Please ensure your vet recognizes titers and is willing to offer affordable titer testing versus blindly overdosing pets with unnecessary vaccinations which contribute to the 50% national cancer rates being newly diagnosed annually in 10 million companion animals. The health of our pets is our main priority, and we require our nutritional and vaccination protocols be maintained. We will not allow our pets to be subjected to even a second unnecessary vaccination overdose, when checking titers can easily be incorporated into annual wellness exams for our animals.

The entire veterinary file always accompanies each of our cats upon adoption and we provide full transparency with the care we have provided.

Please contact Christine@Headbutthotel.org for our adoption paperwork.
