Luna's Story

Hi, my name is Luna! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Affectionate, independent, a little sassy
-Can Live with Cats: No thanks
-Can Live with Dogs: No thanks
-Can Live with Kids: Unknown history - recommending cat savvy and respectful kids 14+ at this time. Up to counselor's discretion.
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes
-History of Litter Box Issues: No
-Energy Level: Medium
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Nope, Luna is good to go!

Meet Luna - a sweet senior looking for her furrrever home. We've noticed that Luna takes a little bit of time to warm up and prefers that you give her the time and space to come to you on her own terms. Miss Luna prefers to be the center of attention and will need to go into a home where she'll be the only animal. This senior lady needs a quiet, predictable home that will enrich her golden years with plenty of playtime and cuddle time. Luna would love to spend her days perched on the window sill watching the birds and finding the most purrfect sunny spot to curl up in for naps throughout the day. Senior kitties are so full of love and we don't doubt that Luna would make a great companion for someone looking for an affectionate and slightly sassy kitty. If you're interested in meeting Luna, please fill out an application for review.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
