Luna's Story

Approximate DOB 11/15/25<br/>Although she is perfectly content in her foster home, Luna is looking for a forever home of her own. She was living on a rural property with her siblings, but we are hoping for a safer, healthier life for her. Luna is striking, with her beautiful black/brown coat. She absolutely loves other cats and would love to have a friend in her new home. She loves to have her back scratched and to play with the resident cats in the house. Luna can is shy with new people and may take a little time to warm up. We are asking any kids in the household to be 10 or older. She does fine with calm dogs. If you think your home may be a good fit please reach out! You can contact our adoption coordinator Misty directly, 815-520-5527, or click on inquire, and she will get your email.

Community Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please read carefully when considering adopting from us! General rules; *Potential adopter must be at least 21 years old, or have a consenting parent filling out the application *We also adhere to a general rule of thumb that, for adopters over the age of 60, we are strongly suggesting that an adult cat be your only consideration. Applications for small kittens may possibly denied due to age of adopter. *We are foster based, so the best way to ensure you meet the kitty you are interested in, you’ll need to inquire via Petfinder. The foster parent will get your inquiry and will respond. We promise! *Once you’ve inquired, most of our fosters have a fillable pdf of our application they can email back to you. *ALL cats and kittens are fully vetted; the adoption fee covers: *Spay/Neuter *Vaccines (FVRPC, rabies as appropriate) *Microchip *Standard Deworming protocol *In most cases FIV/FeLV test Kittens are $85 Young cats $65 Adult cats $50 Senior cats $25 *When arriving to a meet and greet/ potential adoptions, we ask that you have a carrier that a kitty can be put into securely for safe transport to their new home. We are so appreciative that you’ve considered adopting from us! We are a small group, held together by just a handful of crazy cat ladies just trying to save some lives. Reach out to fosters with ANY/ALL questions! We are known for being very responsive to our potential adopters!
