Luna's Story
Luna is a 14-year-old tortie mix with long, beautiful fur, striking green eyes, and a gentle, soulful presence. She was found on Halloween when she walked up a driveway extremely malnourished and sick. Although the family hadn't planned to take in another pet, they couldn't turn her away - and they truly hoped to make it work.

Her finders grew very attached but despite months of effort, it became clear that Luna was extremely uncomfortable living with other animals, so they made the difficult, loving decision to seek help finding her a home.

Luna is extremely people-friendly and loves human attention. She's not shy at all - she happily approaches people, is very talkative, and will keep you company with her constant commentary. She loves being petted and enjoys playtime, especially with older kids (she's done wonderfully with kids ages 12 and 14).

While she's not a constant lap cat, she does enjoy affection and will often curl up for cuddles at night. She's independent but affectionate, confident, and social with people. After meals, she sometimes gets the zoomies, but overall she's a calm, mild-mannered lady who enjoys lounging on cat towers and high places.

Important Notes
- Highly recommended to be the only pet - or, if other pets are incredibly mellow and introductions can be done over the course of weeks, she *may* acclimate. It's hard to say, because like humans, all pets are individuals, so it could have been the particular peos in the home she resided in for several months.

- Interestingly, her microchip revealed she was reported missing 7 years ago, making her story even more remarkable!

Luna's perfect home would be a quiet, low-key environment where she can be the center of attention. She would thrive with an adult or older family looking for a loving companion - especially someone who appreciates a mature cat with a big personality and doesn't need a high-energy kitten.

Luna has already shown incredible resilience. Now she just needs the right home - one where she doesn't have to compete, defend herself, or feel stressed. If you're looking for a devoted, talkative, people-loving companion, Luna may be your perfect match.

Come meet Luna and give her the peaceful, loving home she deserves!
