Lulu's Story
Hello! My name is Lulu! I was brought in to foster care with my brother a few months ago because my owners had a baby who was allergic to me! To my surprise and disappointment they chose to keep the baby over me! How rude, if you ask me!

It may have been a blessing in disguise though, because I came to foster underweight and with a bad case of diarrhea. After some continued veterinary appointments and diagnostics, I was officially diagnosed with IBS. My foster daddy noticed that my ragdoll brother, Carter, and I didn’t really get along which added to my stress. Carter was adopted separately which has made me much happier! I also have to say I do not like the resident cat in my foster home. I would really be happiest in a home where I am the only pet! You could call me Princess Lulu and I will have the whole castle to myself and it will be lovely!

At the advice of trusted veterinarians, North Paw Rescue has changed my diet to a prescription food and gave me Prednisone and probiotics. I’ve gained 1.6 lbs since then and my ribs don’t stick out anymore! Yay! And my diarrhea has gone away and I feel much better!! My real personality has returned!

I have been described as a Ragdoll but I do not have the classic Ragdoll personality at all. I do not like to be picked up or held. I will not sleep with you or sit on your lap, but I will stay close by. I like to think of myself as a Siamese Tabby mix as that's much more my personality. I do like attention and enjoy being in the same room with you. If I can sit next to you on the sofa or bed I enjoy pets! Or if you pet me while I’m lying on my back on the floor- that’s my favorite. Since my IBS is made worse by stress I would do best in a quiet home with no small children or other cats or dogs. And I really love sitting in my cat tree! If you get one for me I’ll be very happy!!

Thank you for learning more about me! If you think you and I would get along well, please consider applying to adopt me!

--Lulu

Lulu's adoption fee is $300 and includes her alter, a microchip, her rabies and FVCRP vaccines, a fecal sample, and even a few weeks of the prescription food that she needs.

If you think she may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius. This cat is currently being fostered in Rush, NY.
