Luke's Story
Luke is around 8 years old and was left on the doorstep of our shelter in the middle of the night. The poor fella was crawling with fleas, and because he is one of those unlucky cats that suffers from flea allergy dermatitis, his skin was raw and his fur has been licked bald in places. After dealing with the fleas and getting him on a course of steroids, he has healed up and his fur is growing back!

Luke is a sweet guy that isn't shy with strangers and politely hopes for pets when folks walk by. Unsure of his experience with dogs, but he has been fine with the other cats here at thr shelter. This gentleman is just waiting for a stable forever home where he will be cared for and kept healthy.

(All cats and kittens we adopt out are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for fleas, dewormed, and microchipped)

Please submit an adoption application through our website versus completing the Petfinder inquiry feature.

Our adoption application and policies can be found here:

www.secondchancear.org/adopt-1
