Luke's Story

Meet Luke!
Born August, 2023
Luke is a forever kitten in a tiny little peanut-sized body! Although he is 2–3 years old, he has the sweetest balance of playful and snuggly. He is adventurous, curious, affectionate, friendly, and easygoing, with a wonderful ability to just go with the flow. Luke does best in a home that isn’t overly active or chaotic. He enjoys his quiet time just as much as he enjoys playing and would love a peaceful home where he can relax, explore, and be himself. He is also respectful of personal space, tolerant, outgoing, vocal, and loves being brushed.

Luke absolutely adores his humans, especially the people he knows best. Once he gets to know you, he is the same sweet little guy with everyone. He is a bit of an extrovert and enjoys meeting new people because, in his mind, that means more people to give him pets! When someone new arrives, Luke will calmly peek out, assess the situation, and then come right on out to see what’s happening. He’s curious and welcoming without being overwhelming. If you initiate interaction, he is more than happy to accept the attention. And when his favorite people leave the room—or even disappear for just five minutes—Luke will greet them with the sweetest little chirps. He may even follow you around, weaving between your legs as you go about your day, because he is always interested in whatever his humans are doing.

What makes little Luke so special is his incredible sweetness. He is obsessed with being petted and will come right up to you to “ask” for attention. Once you start, be prepared for a good 15-minute petting session! If you stop too soon, Luke may gently grab at your hands with his paws to encourage you to continue. He also has the funniest habit of collecting little toys and hiding them under clothes and blankets—or leaving them right on the floor in front of you. Almost anything small can become a treasure to Luke. From his adorable chirps and head nudges to his playful antics and constant desire to be near his people, Luke is truly what we call pure of heart. He is a remarkably sweet little guy who would love a calm home where he can give—and receive—a whole lot of love.
To adopt Luke complete our adoption application here-https://www.tenderlovingcats.org/adoption/application.html
After the application is approved, you can meet him in his Foster home.
