Heartland Pet Welfare's Adoption Policy
Our cats would love to find a new home with you! To come in and see the cats all you have to do is call or email us at heartlandpetwelfare@gmail.com or 1-815-273-0556 and we set up a time that works for you to get together with our volunteer at the shelter to meet the kitties. When you have a cat or kitten picked you will need to fill out the adoption paperwork. We will check with your vet. to see that you are responsible with the care of pets .
Our adoption fees are currently $75.00 for one cat or kitten .The adoption fee helps us with the cost for (including but not limited to):
Spay (or) neuter costs
Combo test for feline leukemia and feline immune virus (FeLk/FIV)
Distemper, leukemia, and rabies vaccinations
Treatment for ear mites, worms, and fleas
Medications the cat needed while in our care.
