Meet Luigi! 💚 Former community cat Luigi is a curious and charming boy who always seems to be on a little adventure. This sweet guy loves exploring his surroundings and keeping tabs on everything going on around him. Whether he’s investigating a new corner or watching the world from his favorite perch, Luigi’s curious spirit makes him a fun and engaging companion. Luigi spent his formative years as a colony cat so he is very guarded around other cats and would probably do better as the only cat in a house. Luigi is also quite the talker! He loves chatting with his people and will happily share his thoughts with a series of adorable meows. If you enjoy a cat with personality, who likes to “converse,” Luigi will fit right in. While he’s not the biggest fan of being held, Luigi absolutely loves affection and will gladly lean into gentle scratches and pets. He enjoys being close to his people and soaking up the love—just with all four paws on the ground. HEARTT Animal Refuge's Adoption Policy

All adoptions are by appointment only. We have two locations, Sharonville and Bridgetown, so please clarify who you would like to meet so we can set up the appointment at the correct location. Our adoption fee for both dogs and cats is $100 per animal. We have a policy to only adopt to individuals age 21 or older. Additionally, we only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter. All animals are spayed/neutered and vaccinated prior to adoption. We also give flea and dewormer treatments. Dogs are tested for Heartworm and cats are quarantined for 8 weeks prior to FIV/FeLV testing. Consider a "Senior" pet.....they really need love and a home to call their own in their senior years. We have a few beautiful kittens and many adult cats that are looking for you.
