Ludo's Story

Oh Ludo! How to describe Ludo?? Ludo is quite the character. He was surrendered when his owner moved into a care facility. For a period of time sometime before that the owner had been in a facility for almost two years, with Ludo being checked in on by a friend.

He was extremely matted and honestly pretty unfriendly when he came to us. He was sedated to shave the mats off and while under had some very rotten teeth removed. Between the pain of the mats and the bad teeth he was probably feeling pretty terrible. We found that immediately afterward he was MUCH more friendly.

Ludo likes to be pet, when he wants pet and how he likes to be pet but always wants to be nearby and has started laying down on my shoes when I fit in his room. He likes his cheeks scritched and the back of his neck. He is front paw declawed but seems to have no issue with it. Ludo gets down from the high up perch that he likes and immediately approaches when people come into his free roam room.

Ludo is just our sweet but grumpy old man (DOB 2013), needing a place to live out his golden years. He has never lived with other cats but currently free roams with 30 (which is asking a lot in itself). He does ok with them other than an occasional hiss and should do okay with a respectful cat house mate but would love to be an only cat. Ludo needs a quiet home with no children.

Ludo is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm disease. *Questions?
