Lucy the Polydactyl Tortie

What's a "Polydactyl" you ask? It means the cat has extra toes. Yes, they are a genetic mutation just like the X-Men! What could be cooler than that? How about a polydactyl kitty who's also sweet and loving and beautiful? That's Lucy! We saved Lucy from being abandoned outside - she was not appreciated by her mere mortal owners - and the first thing we noticed were her big mitten feet. When we went to trim her nails we discovered her extra toes, tucked in next to her kitty cat thumb. So we knew we had an extra-special girl on our hands, especially after we discovered her great personality. Lucy loves people and will snuggle next to you and just beg for attention, but she's not needy and is happy to just hang around your house and watch the world go by. Lucy likes people best and would be a wonderful solo cat, but she's very friendly with other cats as well if you want to add her to your "clowder" (that's what a group of cats is called and yes it's vocabulary day on Petfinder).
