Lucy & Maximus's Story
***Sharonville Location***

Meet Lucy and Maximus— a sister and brother duo looking for their forever home!
Lucy (female, gray tabby with white) and Maximus (male, cream colored combination of tabby and siamese) haven't spent a minute apart from one another since birth. They ended up in our care as babies, after a kind samaritan rescued their pregnant mother, but realized she couldn't keep kittens, too. This bonded pair spent the last month growing up together in their foster home, where they were acclimated to kids, other cats, and dogs. Now that they're roaming in a free range room with other cats, we often find them playing and sleeping together. Ideally, we’re hoping to find a family excited to adopt them as a duo.

Their foster mom and Heartt volunteer, Wendy, shared this description:

Maximus, Max for short, is super chill and friendly, totally cool with people and dogs, and ready to be the ultimate lap cat. He’s talkative and the first one to come over and say hi and curl up with you. He also loves to play with the drawstrings on a hoodie or pants. Max has the potential to be a large cat when he is done growing, because his paws are big and his legs are long.

Lucy is more adventurous, but she's just a bit wary. She was okay with our dogs, but she took a little longer to warm up to them. She likes to curl up next to you, eventually, after she’s worn herself out. Lucy is still pretty petite and adorable to watch prance around with her little white "socks." She also has bunny soft fur that you can pet for hours!

These siblings are always entertaining and their friendly nature makes them a great fit for a variety of households. Please schedule an appointment to meet Lucy and Max at our Sharonville location!

Both are spayed and neutered and current on their shots.

FIV/FeLV negative

*Must be 21 or older to adopt

**Our shelter has a policy to only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter
