Lucy's Story

Lucy was found sleeping on a sidewalk, but the second someone approached her, she popped right up and made it very clear that she was ready to be rescued. With her enormous eyes, adorable ears that she may or may not ever grow into, and her big personality, Lucy is hard to resist.

Lucy is a playful, people-loving girl who thinks attention is pretty much the best thing ever. She loves pets, cuddles, and spending time with her favorite humans, but she's always ready to switch gears when it's time to play. She's got plenty of kitten energy and loves making the most of playtime before settling in for some affection.

Lucy seems to be fearful of dogs, so she'd do best in a home without them or with a calm dog who can be introduced slowly and properly. Give her a little patience, lots of love, and plenty of playtime, and Lucy will happily be your adorable, big-eyed best friend.

She is approximately 6 months old and is spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and up to date on her vaccinations.

If you are interested, please apply on our website missdixieskittenrescue.org.

**All applicants must live within a reasonable driving distance of Bethel, CT (PA, NY, MA, NJ, MD). Our rescue and kitties are based in South Carolina but we have a wonderful transporter who will bring adopted kitties north on a monthly basis. More often than not, she can deliver them directly to your home.

*Miss Dixie's does NOT adopt single cats/kittens to homes without another kitten or cat already established in the home, unless otherwise noted.

*All Miss Dixie Kittens are up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
