Lucy's Story

PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL'S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING!

Hi... I'm **Lucy**

I'm a 2-year-old tortoiseshell girl with a soft heart and an even softer spot for cuddles. My absolute favorite place to be? Curled up on your chest or in your lap, purring the day away. If you're sitting down, I will gladly volunteer as tribute.

I'm a gentle, loving, laid-back kitty. I can be a little shy and nervous at first - new places are a bit scary for me - but once I know I'm safe, I turn into the biggest cuddle bug. I bond closely with my people and love being near you. I'll happily lounge and nap most of the day, then show up right on time for dinner (especially if treats are involved... I will do almost anything for a snack!).

I had a bit of a hard start before coming into foster care and was very underweight, but I've blossomed into my full tortie self. I'm still adjusting to new environments and take some anti-anxiety medication while I build confidence. What I really need is stability - a calm, steady home where I don't have to move around a lot. I like knowing where everything is and feeling secure.

I get along with other kitties when we're introduced slowly, and I can live with a calm large/small dog, too. I'm not the most active girl, so laid-back companions suit me best. I also enjoy having my own little space to retreat to when I need quiet time.

The good news? I'm fully litter box trained, I use my scratching posts (never your furniture!), and I'm very well-mannered in the house.

My dream home would be:
A small family (1-3 people)
Calm, stable, and not traveling often
Maybe a relaxed cat or small dog sibling
Plenty of cuddle time at the end of each day

I have so much love to give. I just need someone patient, kind, and ready for a loyal little shadow who will greet you at dinner time and snuggle you every night.

If you're looking for a sweet, gentle cuddle companion... I'm right here.

Adoption FEE: $100 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. Adoption process step by step: 1. View animal online( website, pet finder, social media) 2. Fill out adoption form and we will contact you 3. Schedule a meet-and-greet ( Meet-and-greets are at the convenience of the foster parent. We will always try to be as accommodating as possible.) 4. Application approval 5. Home pictures 6.
