Lucy is a sweet little girl with a calm disposition. She has short to medium hair, with 4 white paws and a white neck. She is very friendly and curious, and comes up to you when you walk in the room looking for some attention or a scratch on her chin. <br/><br/>She recently raised a litter of six beautiful little kittens and is an absolutely wonderful mom--very devoted and patient with her kittens. Lucy would make a lovely addition to any family who wants a loving and affectionate companion.<br/><br/>Would you like to make Lucy a part of your family? Action Volunteers for Animals - Durham Region's Adoption Policy
All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens. AVA does not adopt out of province or out of country. Adopters should live within a one-hour radius of our locations in the Greater Toronto Horseshoe Area (GTHA). Due to the overwhelming volume of applications we are receiving, a response to short-listed applicants may be delayed. While we endeavour to contact short-listed applicants within 48 hours, a response may take up to a week. Adoption Fees Standard adoption fees for cats and kittens include vetting, spay/neuter, two dewormings, microchip, and initial vaccine at the time of adoption (FVRCP and rabies if age-appropriate). Additional fees may apply for cats who have had, or are due for, vaccine boosters prior to adoption. Testing for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) or Feline Leukemia (FeLV) is is not included unless specifically indicated, as testing is not standard practice. Adult over 1 year: $250 (with initial vaccine) Adult over 1 year: $325 (with second/booster vaccine at $75) Kitten or juvenile under 1 year: $275 (with initial vaccine) Kitten or juvenile under 1 year: $350 (with booster vaccine at $75) Seniors (10+ years) and special needs: $200 Special breeds: Starting at $250 – a $75 fee may be applied for special breeds who have had a booster administered prior to adoption.
