Name: Lucy Female DSH Brown Tabby Estimated DOB: 10/28/2024 About: Lucy is a brown tabby cat who was found under a porch around the medical mile area. A kind neighbor began feeding and petting her. A friend contacted us and we were able to get her into foster. Her first week with her foster mom was all cuddles and purrs. She was VERY glad to be inside. They cuddle a lot and she eats ravenously. The foster moms other foster kitty, Ardmore, mothers her. They enjoy each other and play in their tunnel. Lucy meows a lot and communicates about EVERYTHING. Location: in foster Medical: All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines (rabies and distemper), microchipped, given flea/tick prevention and de-wormer, FIV/FeLV tested, and any other veterinary care that is needed prior to adoption. ~We do not adopt to homes with animals who are not spayed or neutered unless there is a valid reason such as vet recommendation. ~We do check references including landlord if you rent and your vet both past and present. ~We do not adopt to homes that plan on declawing the cat we have adopted out to you or that plan on letting a cat outside (unless on a leash and harness under owner's continued observation). ~If we see something on your application that we are concerned about, we will always try and have a conversation with you to find out the why. We understand you might have declawed a cat in the past or had to rehome an animal. It can happen to anyone. We like to dig deeper and won't deny someone just based on surface information.
