What is Back Street Kittens, Inc’s adoption process?

All BSK cats and kittens have been tested for Fiv/Felv, dewormed, treated for fleas and parasites, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and microchipped. All kittens who have not been spayed/neutered are “Foster to Adopt” only. The adoption will be completed as soon as the alter surgery has taken place. Please complete an application at https://backstreetkittens.org/forms/ and submit online. Completing an application does not commit you to adopting from Back Street Kittens. Adoption fee is $150.00 for kittens under 6 months and we highly recommend that they be adopted in pairs. We will do single adoptions on a case by case basis as determined by the needs of the particular kitten(s), kittens 6 months to 1 year are $125.00 and $100.00 for kittens over a year. Ask about the discount for adopting 2 (or 3)! We do not do out of state adoptions

Lucy is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Lucy good with other animals?

Lucy is not good with other cats and dogs.

When can I meet Lucy?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Lucy?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
