Lucy's Story

Hi I am Lucy! I arrived at CHA very heartbroken and it will took me a little time for me to trust. I came in with my baby, a plush kitty that brings me comfort while I adjusted to life at the shelter. I am still a little shy but I LOVE the pets! As a chunky kitty I'm not a fan of being picked up and toted around so I would definitely like a mature home, but once I settle in I'm most likely going to be sitting on your lap getting all the pets I can stand! All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $185 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $300, and dogs over the age of 10 are $100. Adult cat adoption fees are $85, kittens under one year are $135, and cats over the age of 10 are $50.
