Lucky Loonie's Story

Gender: Male
Colour: Brown tabby
Date of Birth: January 31, 2023

Meet Lucky Loonie!

A loyal little shadow with a heart full of love. Lucky's favorite place in the world is right beside his person. He'll follow you from room to room, curl up next to you whenever you sit down, and happily choose affection over food (and that's saying a lot, because he really loves to eat). If you're looking for a companion who is simply content being near you, Lucky is your guy.

He's also a bit of an old soul. When you chat with him, he'll "grumble" back as if you're having a real conversation--it's one of his many charming quirks.

Lucky spent his early years as a stray, so indoor life is still relatively new to him--but you'd never guess it. He's fully litter trained, calm, and wonderfully easy to live with. As he continues to come out of his shell, his playful side is starting to shine--right now, he's especially fond of chasing his own tail. He may enjoy having another friendly cat around to help bring out even more of that playful energy.

He has met a dog and handled the introduction well, but due to his gentle and slightly timid nature, he would thrive best in a quieter, low-energy home.

Lucky has mild asthma and takes a puffer twice a day as part of his routine. He's incredibly cooperative--he even waits patiently for his treatment because he knows it means mealtime is next. Ten breaths, then food!

He's also perfectly content having his nails trimmed and takes it all in stride. Truly, Lucky is one of the gentlest souls you'll ever meet.

He's looking for a forever home where he can be someone's constant companion--a quiet presence, a warm shadow, and a devoted friend. Spend a little time with Lucky, and it won't take long before you fall in love.

Location: Guelph, ON.
Adoption Fee: $275
To meet and adopt this cat, apply at the link below:
https://tinyurl.com/AARApplyNow

Arthur Animal Rescue Co-operative's Adoption Policy
Thank you for considering adopting through Arthur Animal Rescue! We are a small rescue comprised of caring foster homes throughout Center and North Wellington (Arthur, Mount Forest, Fergus, Elora and surrounding areas). If you see a cat or kitten on our site and would like to learn more about any of them please feel free to send us a message. If you would like to meet any of our adoptable pets in person, submit an adoption application and we can arrange a time for you to meet which is convenient to you and the foster home. In the event that multiple applications are received for a cat or kitten in our rescue, we will review each one and make the best decision based on fit for both the cat or kitten, and their forever family. The adoption fee includes the cost of the spay or neuter surgery as well as first vaccinations. The cats and kittens are also dewormed and receive revolution treatment whenever necessary. We also provide info on preparing for a new feline family member to help with the transition to their new homes. And offer ongoing support or advice after the adoption has taken place! If you have questions at all please feel free to contact us!
